Nattokinase is an enzyme derived from `natto`, a traditional fermented soy food popular in Japan. During the natto production process B. subtilis natto, a friendly bacteria, ferments boiled soybeans, releasing nattokinase. Nattokinase contains pure nattokinase enzyme.
