Support Your Joints with Joint Complex

Look after Your Joints

It’s important that we support and protect our muscle and joints particularly as we age. If we don’t and it’s left untreated it can lead to further loss of joint and muscle movement. This discomfort is associated with wear and tear and is mostly caused by deterioration due to cartilage breakdown. If you have achy joints there are some things that you can do to help relieve the discomfort.

Dietary Tips

A couple of steps I recommend to customers who visit our stores and are looking to support their joints; Firstly, you should consider your footwear especially if you enjoy walking or running or if your job means you are on your feet a lot. Ensuring that you are wearing proper footwear is the first place to start when it comes to looking after your knees.

Light and gentle exercise will help keep your joints supple. Always stretch before and after exercise to support muscle health.

Think about your weight, as weight increases pressure on all the joints, especially the knees. Every pound of weight adds 3-4 pounds of extra weight on your knees.

There are changes you could make to your diet to support joint care. The top ones to avoid are sugar, sweet treats, dairy products, fizzy drinks, coffee, and alcohol. Increase anti-inflammatory foods like oily fish, avocado, olive oil, nuts, seeds, flax, chia seeds, ginger, and turmeric. Increase green leafy vegetables, berries and brightly coloured fruit.

What's the best supplement for joint health?

Finally, Joint Complex by Revive Active is an Irish super supplement brand, it’s one of our most popular products. It contains Glucosamine Sulphate, Hyaluronic Acid, and Marine Collagen, which are important nutrients to help support the joints and muscles. It also contains MSM an important nutrient for the ligaments, tendons, and muscles, and Vitamin D to support bone health. It’s ideal to help relieve joint discomfort, and to improve joint mobility and flexibility. It's a brilliant supplement with a very good mix of joint supporting supplements all in the one formula. If you were to buy all of the ingredients separately it would be a lot more expensive and a lot of wasted time too opening lots of bottles. It is best taken one hour after food, you simply mix in a glass of water for a pleasant tasting super supplement. Another point about it is that it is actually very good for your skin too as it contains Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. A two in one supplement really.

I hear positive feedback from people of all ages who use Joint Complex by Revive Active. Runners, walkers, dancers, gardeners, and busy people have told me how happy they are with it. They really like this supplement because they can get back to doing the things they enjoy. You simply take one sachet per day mixed with water. It has a lovely and refreshing forest fruit flavour and is Irish made too!

One customer told me how they were due to get a hip replacement and decided to try Revive Active Joint Complex while they waited. There hip operation wasn't due for several months so they started it with a view to getting some relief from discomfort and pain. Four years later they haven't had the operation as there was no further deterioration to the joints and it was decided to leave well enough for the moment. I know that everyone won't be as lucky as this person, but it is a great story to share with you.

Revive Active Joint Complex works well alongside Omega 3 fish oils, turmeric, and ginger supplements for their natural anti-inflammatory benefits. When I am talking to someone who is pain I will suggest that they take one of these supplements too so that they can get the inflammation under control. Flexofytol is one of our top turmeric supplements, containing the active ingredient curcumin. We have amazing feedback from this supplement when there is pain and stiffness due to overuse of the joints, tendons, or muscles. There are lots of fish oils, my go to tends to be Eskimo Omega 3 Oil one teaspoon per day or Udo's Choice Omega 3 6 9 Blend if you are vegetarian or vegan. Omega oils are required daily for all aspects of our health so if you don't want to take another supplement top up on good quality oils through your diet.

So, take a look at your footwear, diet, and top up with supplements if needed to support your joint health.
