Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsweetened plant-based milk (almond, oat, or coconut work well)

  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric

  • ½ tsp Ground ginger (or 1 tsp freshly grated ginger for added flavour)

  • ¼ tsp Ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)

  • 1 tsp Maple syrup or honey

  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Warm the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the plant-based milk over medium heat until it begins to steam, but avoid boiling.

  2. Add Spices: Whisk in the turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper until fully combined. Continue stirring to keep the spices from settling.

  3. Sweeten and Flavour: Add maple syrup or honey and vanilla extract, stirring well. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.
