In the Kitchen with Natural Health Store, check out Clair's easy peasy Protein Balls, these are high in protein, essential fats, vitamins & minerals and quality carbohydrates. Clair used Agave syrup for the sweetener but you can replace that with Chicory Syrup or any other syrup of your choice. You can also change up the flavours to suit what you like.

Clair's Easy Peasy Protein Balls

  • 3 Tablespoons of Peanut butter

  • 2 Tablespoons of Agave syrup

  • 3 Tablespoons of pea protein powder

  • 1 Tablespoon of Chia seeds

  • 2 Tablespoons of baby oats gluten free or millet flakes

  • 1 Tablespoon desiccated coconut

  • 2 Tablespoons Udo’s Choice omega oil

  • 3 Tablespoons raw cacao nibs

  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla essence

  • 2 Teaspoons apple juice


  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together except the desiccated coconut.

  2. Add in the wet ingredients.

  3. Work together to form a firm paste, add more apple juice mix is too dry.

  4. Form the mix into balls- you should make 8 from this mix.

  5. Roll the balls in the desiccated coconut to coat them.

  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
